The Guilford Parks and Recreation Department along with the Guilford Agricultural Society are pleased to announce the second annual Earth Day program “Earthfest” on Saturday, April 22, 2017 at the Guilford Fairgrounds from 10:00a.m.-2:00p.m. We are excited to educate the public on the subject of sustainable practices. The Department will have information stations for recycling, planting, repurposing, and keeping waterways clean. The program features games, live entertainment, and more.

There will also be a challenge for all to help Clean Up Guilford and fill a dump trucks!

Earth Day Fest

 Come check out a fabulous Earth Day Extravaganza featuring awesome local vendors and artists working with recycled and upcycled materials, natural and organic products, vintage and found objects! Stay tuned for our schedule of free workshops, kids crafts, live music and talks! This event is free to the public with the donation of a non perishable food or hygiene item for the local food bank!

 The mission of the 3rd Annual Compassionfest is to unite like-minded people that believe in the values of being just, kindness, equality and compassion. We'll gather for delicious vegan food and cruelty-free product providers, local artisans, inspiring performers, musical acts & healing workshops for all ages. This is an ALL welcoming indoor/outdoor event.
